Earlier this year, Death Cab for Cutie’s landmark release turned FIFTEEN years old - it starts high school in the fall! To commemorate the anniversary I had the opportunity to work with the band on a brand new poster, highlighting each track on the album. I’ve quite literally been listening to this album for half my life, so to be able to really dig into the lyrics and interpret each song in a visual way - this was one of the more rewarding things I’ve gotten to work on. You can listen to a song hundreds and hundreds of times, and there’ll still be moments when it feels like your very first time hearing it. Albums like that are magic. This album is magic.
